Mr. Davenport has more than 9 years of using AutoCAD to produce land base, construction, permit, and record drawings for fiber optic cable projects.  He has supported plan production, permitting, and As-Built drawing production for OSP fiber optic projects as a drafter, lead CAD coordinator, and quality control technician. As a project CAD Coordinator, Mr. Davenport has supervised a CAD staff of several operators and quality control technicians. His telecommunications experience includes plan production using AT&T Graphic Guidelines standards, processing GPS data for incorporation into land base drawings, quality review of design field notes and finished plans, base mapping research and acquisition, and other related tasks. His relevant work experience accounts for more than 3,000 miles of fiber optic cable construction in the United States.



Relevant Project Experience
  • CAD Coordinator responsible for the development of land base, construction, permitting, and record drawings for installation of approximately 305 miles in Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi. Tasks included delegating work assignments, quality control, and meeting schedules. This work required compliance with AT&T's Graphic Guidelines.
  • CAD Coordinator, Fort Worth, Texas and El Paso, Texas.  Project tasks included the preparation of land base drawings, preparation of permit, construction, and record drawings in accordance with AT&T Graphic Guidelines. This project consisted of over 610 miles of new fiber optic cable plant.
  • CAD Coordinator responsible for producing record drawings utilizing AT&T Graphic Guidelines for a 287 mile project between Tulsa, Oklahoma and Dallas, Texas.
  • CAD Operator – support for the preparation of record drawings utilizing AT&T Graphic Guidelines for 801 mile project between Salt Lake City, Utah and Sacramento, California.
  • CAD Operator – support for producing record drawings utilizing AT&T Graphic Guidelines for a 170 mile project between St. Cloud, MN and Moorhead, MN.
  • CAD Operator – support for the preparation of permit, construction, and record drawings utilizing AT&T Graphic Guidelines for 356 mile project between Fort Worth, Texas and San Antonio, Texas.
  • CAD Operator – support for the preparation of permit, construction, and record drawings utilizing AT&T Graphic Guidelines for 308 mile project between Tucson, Arizona and Blythe, California.
